More tests would be required to tell exactly what fixed it, if you want and tell me how to remove it completely, I can make a few tests and report back the results. I suggest if you can, add a note about this at the install instructions, for the rare case someone still uses 32bit Windows. Pull your branch and fix any merge conflicts. Once downloaded and installed, set up Git LFS for your user account. Download and install the Git command line extension. Check you are using the git lfs version you downloaded (2.7.2 for me): >git lfs version git-lfs/2.7.2 Run: git lfs migrate import -fixup -everything. Git Large File Storage (LFS) replaces large files such as audio samples, videos, datasets, and graphics with text pointers inside Git, while storing the file contents on a remote server like or GitHub Enterprise. The page where the install instructions are, is not detailed enough imo, fresh git users, will fall into the error, as they will try to install the 64bit version, while if they have 32 bit Windows, they should download that version from the download links, on top right. Ensure you have git lfs version 2.5 or higher installed (download here). Once I downloaded the 32 bit version, and I unzipped into the folder, you pointed out using the "$ which git" command, it could execute the command. For more information, see ' Moving a file in your repository to Git Large File Storage. Second, the error was, that it could not run the command, but now it already recognized it. Windows Linux If there are existing files in your repository that you'd like to use GitHub with, you need to first remove them from the repository and then add them to Git LFS locally. First, the path needed to be added as you suggested, because after I added the error message changed, see above.
